Vegan Stockholm Resource Group is neither a political nor a religiously affiliated organization. The organization's purpose is to promote and encourage the eating of animal-free foods; this is being done through:
- inform residents in and visitors to Stockholm about restaurants and shops where vegan food is offered
- inspire restaurants to serve vegan meals
- inspire manufacturers to produce vegan food
- inspire shops to sell vegan food
- inspire people to eat vegan food
- inform about litterature to increase information and knowledge about relevant subjects
Vegan Stockholm Resource Group has no official opinion about animal testing, animal circuses, hunting, the fur industry and so called militant actions which the media often associates with veganism. All expressed opinions within these above mentioned topics should be seen as the members personal opinions and not that of the organization.
